Really, all the zoo has is lions, tigers, camels, deers, elephant, and that's about it. So we vouched for the Elephant Ride. BEST 30 MINS OF MY TRIP! My husband and I each got out our own elephant and took a casual walk sitting on the comfortable benches on the elephants in the park. We saw all the animals from our view anyways. Best part of the tour is when they walk through this swamp like water area, and the elephant is halfway in the water and you're wondering if you may sink in too! Great experience, pricey for Bali - but well worth it!

Second trip to Bali Zoo this year, last time I totally enjoyed the night tour and dinner- This time I wanted to check out their Elephant Epedition as a comparason to others I have enjoyed. It did not dissapoint, it was a lovely humbling experience sharing a coconut with Aria and my best friend. We enjoyed being away from the zoo and seeing the 500 year old temple rather than just a standard walk around. I head back again next year to take my daughter for her life long dream trip on her 18th and this is the adventure ride we will opt for. Lunch was good along with the scenery and a stroll around the zoo after lunch were a perfect ending to our day we even had the petting zoo to our selves which was fun. Staff at the Zoo are so friendly and helpful from the driver who picked us up to the wait staff in the restraunt- I really enjoy every visit here and would highly recommend wasting a day here with the elephant expedition or any other animal experience that takes your fancy! Beautiful setting is pure bonus to the day!
