Now, guests are not only able to enjoy breakfast like a king, but also with kings of the jungle: Orangutans.. Head over to Gayo Restaurant at Kampung Sumatra, see the playful orangutans play in the playground. Other fauna’s will also be joining the hearty breakfast. A scrumptious breakfast is served during Breakfast with Orangutan. Start with assorted tropical fruits or fruit juice, followed by freshly baked bread, and optional choices of main course that ranged from Fried Rice, Buttermilk pancake, Classic Cereals and more. Complete your morning with a cup of Balinese coffee or warm English breakfast tea to compote a perfect ending to your breakfast quest.

WOW.... Breakfast with the Orangutangs, by far one of the funniest best experience we have had in Bali Buffet Breakfast was very nice along the pastry starters and real fruit juice We got to have ours photos with the beautiful birds and very hungry elephants. They then bought out the very very funny mischevious orangutangs, We got called up by table to see the orangutangs so they weren't overwhelmed, and we all had the chance to interact with them and photo. It looks like we chose the right day to be there , with an Indonesian pop star and his movie star wife and other beautiful actresses. I would be happy to do this again, I loved every minute of it, There is 2 packages you can buy, breakfast with the Orangutangs and Breakfast with the orangutang and Bali Zoo, this time we only did the breakfast next time I will do the zoo again

We visited the zoo today beginning with the Orangutan breakfast. I am so in love! Table by table you are called up for a quick photo with the orangutans but the real highlight is once all tables have been called you are welcome to hang around and interact with the Orangutans. They may choose to cuddle you, play or hold your hand. My son was given a huge cuddle and he is just in awe of how special the experience is. Elephants also visit the breakfast area and you may pat and feed them. We spent the whole day at the zoo; we enjoyed also feeding the tiger, holding a young crocodile and a pony ride. Food at the zoo is lovely we enjoyed a buffet lunch, some of the buffet options are prepared then and there while you wait. The water play area for kids is the icing on the cake for a family visit! I can't recommend this zoo and the orangutan breakfast enough!

We booked for our family of five to have breakfast with the orang-utans. The zoo itself was great and different to the animals we see commonly in Australian zoos. The highlight of the breakfast unfortunately was not the orang-utans but meeting the other animals (including the elephants and gibbon) was great. Unfortunately the way the tables are allowed to meet (take photos) with the animals is not based on your arrival but rather on the number of your table – we were the second group there but sitting at table 15 – and after an hour of sitting in the humidity our kids couldn’t wait another hour to actually meet the orang-utans so we didn’t hang around and instead just walked around the zoo. Would not recommend the breakfast if you have young kids but the zoo alone would be fun for them!
